    Heh Alf and Mary Ann,
I guess you are back home now, planning your next adventure : - ). Hope you got your insurance straightened out!
Except for the extra weight, and so a little more tug on the engine in mountains, did you discover any other things you didn't anticipate?
If you head South, let us know : - )

Wow, that sounds GREAT!!!!!!!! I know you are enjoying it. Looks wonderful.
That little bit of space would be just what the Doctor ordered ... amazing what a difference 8" make. I'd love the lights and moon roof (that's the fire escape hatch if I'm correct, over the bed) sounds good too .... how do you keep the moon light out if you want to? Does it have a shade?
I had a small popup at first, single axle .... and then got a tandem axle popup, and do I ever remember how much smoother that double axle felt. Yes, you don't have that bouncing up/down which causes that constant "jerky" feeling that you feel with a single axle. Only thing I dislike about my 5.0, and it may be a little more pronounced with the shorter frame/axle of the standard (short bed). I think I may look into when they have an opening for a 5.0TA. Actually it is now offically a 5.0! Technically, mine is a 3.0 : - )
Send pictures when you can. The elevated floor in the bath is interesting. Same footprint?
How does the Frontier pull the larger trailer?
Where are you guys, and where are you going?
Love to that sweet wife for us,
    Dan

Hi: Dan... Couldn't sleep so here goes. Biggest diff. is the width. 8" doesn't sound like much...but right thru the middle it's a lot. As Reace said looks more like a foot!!! 5" taller is next to heaven in the bed loft. 8" longer you don't notice so much. 5.0 19'6"/ 5.0TA 20'2".
6 double pancake lights down the center of the roof just flood the trailer with light and so does the moon roof change to a sunroof in the daytime.YES VERY MUCH SO!!!
Bathroom floor is raised up to allow a larger black tank, then bigger grey tank, and bigger fresh tank for extended stays without hookups.
We optioned the trailer for a 95 watt soler to keep the battery full/got a 160 panel.
Then there's the 6'. 7"Dometic fridge with interior lights.
Much wider steps up into the loft ,as well as swivel reading lights, both sides of the bed.
We have the standard flooring, standard upholstery, but a darker "Butter Rum" Formica on the counters& table with chocolate edging. The "U" dinette is optional and still ... Haven't had one neg. coment about it. It's a good fit for us.
Towing the dual leaf springs is just so stable. Not as much bouncing in the rear view mirrors.
I'm glad I found 1aauto.com1A Auto : Aftermarket Auto Parts, Car Body Parts, Replacement & New Automobile and Truck Parts | Buy Discount Car & Auto Parts Onlineso I could get real tow mirrors on the truck. They're exactly like the Titan ones and retain all the style features of the Fronty. Heated, powered, and extendable + fold in for tight spaces. Alf
