Hi Carl . I want to go to the beginning for the install . Use a hand screw driver . You will notice 2 different size screws the shorter go in the door , the longer in the body . Have your door closed and I put rag to hold the space at the opening side of the door nearer the top about where the top hinge across is. Have door closed and latched . All the screws should line up except the door end one is a little off. Also if you find any of the other screws holes need a little tightening up . I used a wood dowel to glue in hole . I then redrilled into the dowel for the screws . That end screw you can go a little bigger and glue dowel into hole . Any adhesive or sealant will do . The end dowel you glued in , drill a smaller then screw hole . I also found making a gasket out of old thin bike tire works real nice. I hope I am making sense here , don't be afraid to ask if you need any questions or help. Escape has wood blocks for original screws to go into. I also used a little clear silicone to hold the rubber gasket in place on the hinge . If you don't' make a gasket just use a sealant even silicone to cover up the wood dowel head. You want the dowel even with the door or body too . Basically it gives you something to screw into or tightens up the screw holes . I would not touch door , until the next day . Pat
