Jim, back in 2017 https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...tml#post178386 you said you were going to post info about installing a Dickinson Mediterranean stove. I can't find it.

I have the optional stove/oven in our 2020 5.0 and am looking for info and advice on swapping it out for a Dickinson.

Any help you can give me would be very valuable.

    Thanks

    Ed Simmers

Jim thanks for responding to my question on the frame recall on a 2009, I read through the thread and clearly understand the weld job, I was a welder in the 1980s build commercial fishing gear. The 2009 I am looking at thru pics is only 3 hrs from my home in Maine, a rare find so close. I noticed the entry door looks different had has no screen door, is there something I can do about that, also can you advice me on other things I should look at, I know one brake is stuck, it’s been sitting for almost 2 years but looks pretty good with no interior leaks. He wants $18000 for it. A new is 28,000 plus the drive from Maine to get it.

Hi Jim, hope all is well with you and your crew.
Randy Beebe here. Not sure if you remember Lorna and I but we met you in Osoyoos a few years ago. We have a 2015 E21 and live in Beaumont, Alberta.
I want to install a flexible solar panel and know you have done so on your TA. I assume you are still happy with that install?
Just wondering (if you have time) could you recommend the Brand of panel, tape used and any tips you may like to share.
You’ve probably already been asked a 100 times about this so I appreciate your patience.

Jim, I have been off the forum for awhile — but I’ve been wondering how you are doing. Last I heard you were going to be doing some serious rehab. I hope it’s going well. Regards, Ruth

Hello Jim, I've been reading about the build sheet user "Kent" submitted and he references an idea he attributes to you, where you asked for Escape to change the steps to 22". I'm new to the forum and clearly don't have the searching skills I need to find where you discuss this mod as every search I do for you returns a couple hundred topics - and I've yet to find this particular item. Can you tell me about when you posted this so I can try to find it by date? Sorry to be so lame as to have to ask for this help, I'm sure I'll figure out the proper way to search at some point but I have 4 days left before I have to submit my build sheet and am feeling the pressure!! Thanks Jim, I'm also (new member) Jim.

Found this update video from a guy using the eternabond to mount his flex panels.

I'm about to mount four 50w Lensun panels on my roof using eternabond and would appreciate some pointers. How did you mount your panels?

I saw on your profile that you used to have a nineteen foot and upgraded to a 5.0. What prompted that decision if you dont mind me asking. I have a 19 foot escape on order, but on occasion I consider switching to the 5.0. My husband is opposed to the 5.0, he doesnt want to have to tow with a truck , but rather with a SUV. Im curious to know if there is a advantage to the 5.0 that Im not aware of.

Hi Jim, Beth here as Adrian is driving. We will be in Calgary tonight and wondering if we could come by tomorrow afternoon. We have a problem mounting a mirror on the outside door. The existing Murrow broke and when we removed it, pieces of laminate came away. We attached it with command hooks and no nails tape but it came off. We are so challenged with repairs. Not Adrian's forte. Waxing yes, fixing no!
