lookes like your escape is rigged pretty good ! well ,, i just picked up a portable solor panel yesterday and i agree they are on the heavy side lol, but we can use it for boat as well so should work out ok
your options sound similar as to what we have decided on , maybe we see you out there soem time , its good to have a locale escape group on the island ,, we live within a short walk to merical beach camp ground!

thanx for the input , yes there are a few options that are , should we or shouldn't we items for shure ,i concur on the fabric, flooring and countertops,,, ect, but its hard to resist right lol ! sounds like a nice build you have there ! Am i to understand here that you have it for sale( 5.0TA?) Are you re sizing or done camping,,,by what i'm seeing on this site, it should sell very quickly!! i am debating on the inverter, transfer switch option , im thinking it would be good to have with the solar (portable), as well.

Very nice to hear from you and congratulations! I hope we can be of some help!
We started our trailer education by viewing “Casper” a 21 in Shawnigan Lake and then a 5.OTA in Victoria.


After spending two nights in our “new to us” trailer we quickly recognized that a number of the options that we thought were “important” ultimately were not!
Some of those options included custom fabric/countertops//flooring/outside shower/extra outside storage/Springfield pedestal/oven/switching up the kitchen faucet/sink/stove top/ bathroom faucet etc.

I have included the original build sheet which may be of help to you. We feel that the awning lights and jack TV were a luxury. I probably would have preferred to add the toilet shut off valve and winterizing T valve.
