Make sure you have tags and proof of insurance upon reentering Canada, otherwise you have to buy Canadian insurance which is expensive. If you do not have tags then that may be an issue, but I'm sure other members have done it, why not post it on the forum?

I am just now seeing this message! I wondered why I had not heard from you but all along the message was in the private mailbox. Thanks for answering. I know you are extremely excited to go pick up your unit. I told my wife the other day that your excitement was reaching out through the Web! Have fun and looking forward to seeing you in Bandera in April.

We chose the Spitfire 180 because of the quality of construction. It's very heavy stainless and assembled with rivets and fire caulking in the seams - basically designed for a marine environment. The grill grate rods are heavier too, and they roll and remove for easy cleaning. It can bake, roast and work as a griddle too, with a drop in griddle plate. Just a high quality unit all the way around. it has a small footprint, and we can store it under the dinette bench. When the weather permits, we love to cook outdoors, and this thing will hold up for many many years. Jim Bennett wrote a review on his when he got it, which you can find here: https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f2...-bbq-1751.html

The 4G Antenna is a Wilson Trucker 3G/4G Antenna with a built in ground plane. the antenna cable goes to a Wilson Sleek power amplifier cradle which is in one of the overhead cabinets. With this setup, I can pop my Verizon MiFi Hotspot into the cradle and get a 20dB or more signal gain, and internet access in alot more places. The thread I started that discusses it (borrowed the idea from several fellow Escapers who have the same setup) can be found here: https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f8...ived-4740.html
