Blinds while in Tow

Do you guys leave the blinds up or pulled down while in tow?

Up! The original owners of my trailer told me to travel that way because it can leave marks when down. I don't know if it's true, but it makes sense to leave them up since the loops that hold them when they're down don't really seem to hold well even when the trailer is stationary.

I have actually never thought about it, nor noticed any difference either way. I would bet they are down more than up though.

We travel with the blinds down.
No problem so far with loops (if you mean the part that the string is attached to at the bottom?) and them staying down. Maybe there is a different blind system in the newer models? Have not checked the walls to see if they leave marks.

One advantage of having them down is it keeps the sun out and therefore probably keeps the trailer cooler on warm sunny days?
There could be a security benefit to keeping them down as well. If you can't see what is inside there is probably less likelihood that someone would want to get in and take things!
Other than that I guess it would be personal preference.

We have the pleated blinds and travel with them down. for the same reasons as JohnB. I imagine they would migrate down while traveling anyway.....

Down. Down Bowser. Down.

UV will cook them eventually. I say drive with them up.

You think? Tinted windows.
But, they also have to survive the mashed mosquitoes.

I have the old metal blinds, I believe you all with newer trailers have cellular shades (the connected kind). The metal kind rattle and make all sorts of racket if you barely bump them, and I think it makes sense to ride with them up, the shades would probably be fine either way.

Some down, some up, some half either way. No matter.
