2005 17B for sale in July in Alaska

I have a 17B that will be for sale in July in Alaska - with or without a tow vehicle (2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee). It is in excellent condition, used only around 5 times each year. We love it but are...

Re: is there an easier way to hitch the trailer?

OK, I admit it - something is wrong with me. I now have my second telescoping rod hitching aid and it doesn't help me at all. It gets me within a couple of inches of where I need to be, but I could...

Re: is there an easier way to hitch the trailer?

The Couple-Mate is a great idea for a product - unfortunately it won't work with the Escape. The hitch receiver is too wide for the Couple mate attachment so there is no way to fully attach the...

Re: is there an easier way to hitch the trailer?

I just got the Couple-Mate and will let you know how it works. As for the 5.0, I'd need to get a pickup. GM perhaps?

is there an easier way to hitch the trailer?

On my 3rd year with our wonderful 17 foot Escape. It is nearly perfect, but I have one continuing problem. Attaching the trailer seems like it is just too hard. The hitch ball must fit EXACTLY into...

Re: Mounting storage box

I'm a little puzzled about the weight issue on the back - I have the bike rack receiver and when I put 3 mountain bikes on the back, there is certainly more than 100 pounds added to the rear of the...
