Bathroom Nite Light

We use the same one. It's mounted under the sink. It's about the best "mod" ever!!! We LOVE it. No extra wiring needed. Batteries last forever. So simple, so convenient!

Good Bye

Goodbye Forum. It's obvious to me I'm not part of the clique here, nor smart enough for membership in this pseudo-intellects forum. It's been fun. Bye

EcoBoost Engines

Information I've found includes YouTube videos by certified Ford service techs, as well as other service techs who appear well-versed on the subject. I've also researched information posted by Ford...

EcoBoost Issues

There is a great deal of information about EcoBoost engines on YouTube. It appears there are two issues that could be trouble. One is carbon on the valves because direct port ignition engines don't...

Last year I installed the Husky Tongue Jack, Brute, HB4500. I've been very pleased with it. I can hear, and feel the torque as it raises and lowers the trailer. But, the light is almost useless. ...

My 2017 Expedition with the 3.5 EB engine gets about 20 mpg without the trailer. With the trailer, it gets about 12 mpg. So much depends on the slope, wind, and the weight of my foot. On a good...

Bike Rack

Maybe the hitch on the back of the trailer isn't the answer for some. Perhaps a vehicle roof mount would be a better choice. There would probably be less bouncing around up there. One might need a...

Batteries

Dave, we just replaced our dual 6-volts after 9 years. They were still performing but I thought they might be close to the end. Darn! I could have gone another year. I, too, replaced them with...

Did you get a response? What do you plan to do? I'm trying to understand how to do the same thing. Seems complicated.

An ounce of prevention...
Besides, waxing the trailer burns a lot of stored calories...and I've plenty of those to burn.

Try "Rockler". You can find them online if you don't have a store near you. They have all kinds of veneers and lumber. Perhaps you can order the pieces you need. Check them out...

Big Bend History

Thanks for the history lesson. We visited what was left of some of the ranches, that is their foundations. Yes, in hindsight, there must have been some resources at one time or they wouldn't have...

We've camped at the Cottonwood Campground at Big Ben NP. We had to get there really early in the morning to get a first-come first-served site. There was a park official there to manage site...

Brakes Releasing

I had a similar problem towing with a Chevy Tahoe. I noticed the trailer brakes felt like they were still engaged when pulling away from a stop. Turns out, they were. The problem was with the...

AntiFreeze

I put a ball valve right off the accumulator discharge. I open the hot water heater to drain as much water from the system as I can. Then I close off the valves to the accumulator tank and hot water...

Accumulator Tank

FWIW
I put in a 2.5 gal accumulator. Think I purchased it on Amazon. The tank is positioned with the discharge down, air valve up. I have a valve at the discharge to keep from getting anti-freeze...

I did exactly that, by accident. When I was stowing the safety chains following un-hitching I inadvertently pulled the brakes safety pin. At 3 AM that night one of the gas detectors went off due to...

Insects

I usually leave one light on for a few min. to allow the fliers to come to the light. Then I use a paper towel to try to eradicate them before tucking in for the night.

We, too, crack a window open and leave the max fan on low all night to control condensation as best we can. Sometimes it gets quite cool overnight but that is quickly addressed by the furnace or a...

I bought a Yakima rack off Craigslist for cheap. It's a two-place platform-style rack, extremely easy to use. And, it's quite heavy. Keep an eye on CL and/or Facebook marketplace for a used rack. ...
