Returned from 4,500 mile trip south. No abnormal tire wear. So, it was my failure to check the bearing adjustment each year that caused my abnormal tire wear.

Bent torflex 3.5K Dexter axle

Some person jacked up my 17' Escape, at the centre of the torflex axle, bending it upwards. This was done to replace the tires in a shop in Utah. I just noticed this today while replacing my brake...

I contacted Dexter Axle in Calgary, as suggested above. Their kit (AX-603-EZ) has the bearings, cones, seal and rubber EZ cup ($33.48); but does not include the cotter pin and tab washer mentioned on...

Yes there is a place in Langley (Pacific Axle)... but they have individual parts and apparently not the kits (K71-717-00). Jeff at ETI says they no longer stock these parts. I can order from the US;...

Have 17 foot escape with single easy lub 3.5K Dexter axle. Want to replace bearings, seal and cups with Dexter parts. Does anyone know a source in Canada for these parts? Many thanks.
