Re: Refrigerator not cooling on the road

I took a trip from Washington to Wisconsin in July. On the way out our fridge would get really warm when driving and would cool when parked. On the return trip I tried closing the overhead vent in...

Re: What would you change.....

I would not get the window over the sink as little time is ever spent at the sink. I would not get the fan with the hood over the range, the trailer comes with a larger more efficient fan. These 2...

Re: Any vehicles getting 20 mpg (18 mpg US?) while towing?

I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD, which is a diesel, and I get 18 mpg averaged, towing a 17B. I check mileage every fill up and it is always the same +/- .3 mpg. I live in Washington state so lots of...

Re: What "option" is a must-have?

Re: Storage box on tongue

If a person were looking for a more rectangular shape without the weird cutouts, Northern Tool has a flush mount box that comes in 3 lengths and is 12.5" W X 10.5" H. Lengths are 70, 60 or 48 inches,...

Re: Escape Industries has a new website

It is obvious that others are able to view the new web site. At this time I am still seeing IIS7 web site when I try to access www.escapetrailer.com (https://www.escapetrailer.com).

I did not realize that the hot water heaters were not all electric and gas. Is the standard one electric or is it gas?

Re: Dempster Extreme Make-over

Great shot, unlike the pretty pictures that we are use to seeing, this is a trailer that is getting used!

Re: 17 & 19 hitch weights

The tow rating of my Liberty CRD is 5000 lbs. 10% down hill! I bet you had some hot brakes.

Re: Towing difference 17 vs 19

Thank you very much for all of the responses. It is these these types of perceptions that are helping me to make a decision. I can stare at factual numbers all day (and I have), but it is opinions...

I am trying to decide between a 17B or 19 foot trailer. The deciding factor will be if towing/backing a 19 is markedly different than the 17, and therefore making trips less spontaneous or shorter...
