One would guess that aside from the labor component, the majority of their input costs are either directly or at least indirectly affected by the US$. One could also surmise that the majority of...

Reinforced walls on a 19'

Still working hard on our build sheet.
Is it necessary and if so, which ones?

Thanks Gary,

I am assuming that the front permanent bed is the same width as the front dinette would have been 44" - is that correct? Interesting that you can get the rear done as bench vs U too.

Thanks again for the feedback.

We definitely need two sleeping areas. When we need seating we would only set up one area (unless we are having a real big inside party:whistling: I wonder how many...

Thanks for the feedback.
We will be able to seat everybody at either dinette. From a setup standpoint, we'd either have to set up the rear dinette versus take down cot and set up front dinette....

We need to get our build sheet in real soon now.

We are having a hard time deciding on whether to go with the permanent bed or a rear dinette option. We have a family so we will have to set up a...

Re: Honda EU2000i and Dometic Penguin A/C with SmartStart

Looks like a re-branded Magna SF2700. Buyer beware.
Can anyone confirm that the Honda EU2000i will or will not work with the Penguin?
So far it looks like it will.

Re: Escape Battery pack

That's good info. A couple of questions... Is the dual battery option location like this for the 17' and the 19? If you get the dual 6V option, what kind of batteries do you get?

Re: purchasing a new escape 17'b trailer

Yep, cost of $25.5 for a nicely equipped 17B and $28.5 CDN for a 19 is getting up there and I'm not even retired yet. I'm definitely going to consider the used market too. You really have to use it a...

Re: As promised -- 19' photos

By the looks of that first picture, it seems that you cannot completely open the door if the awning is set up. Is this so on the 19'?

Re: 17 & 19 hitch weights

A search in the other forum... someone weighed in at 2610 + 320 = 2930 for a 17B... a little on the high side I would suspect.

17 & 19 hitch weights

I'm considering either the a 17B or a 19. I'm looking to tow with a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder - class 3 hitch, 5000lb tow capacity. 500lbs max tongue, I'll have about 1000lbs for passengers, fuel, cargo...
