Yes, the date on the back is April, 2015 and we picked up the 5.0 sometime in June or July of that year. So, right now I am almost exactly at the 5 year mark.

Thanks for the reply. The pilot will light in the oven. However, when the oven knob is released the 'bar' (for lack of better/technical word) carrying the propane to heat the oven will not light up....

Ditto to that. We have the same in our 5.0 and the lighting is 'just right'. We use the lights in bed a lot: I can go to sleep and she keeps her's on without much problem.
