Update: pulled the correct propane orifice, cleaned with alcohol, and that solved the problem.

Many thanks to the diligent members here that helped me especially Sailingmiker, Rubicon and Ross....

Yes. I cleaned it out with a pipe cleaner but will next do a more thorough cleaning with alcohol and see if that’s the trick.

That included adjusting. After reassembling and the trailer still jacked up I set the adjustment to 1…both wheels had slight drag, set to 2 and the problem wheel almost didn’t turn....

After doing all of the above, I pulled both wheel hubs and switched them back to their original location, cleaned off a bit of grease on the problem...

Update…so I backed off the adjustment on the brake, replaced the trailer plug wiring and junction box. No change. Pulled both hubs off on one side and switched them to see if one was out of round.....

Yes that was a clever alternative and I did it. Worked great…but my offset drill got sold with my boat. It would be of interest as to how many volts it takes to drive it. Mine was a 28 volt monster.

Did a post mortem on the cracked pigtails. Cracks went half way to the reinforcing and were just starting to penetrate it in a few spots.

Sounds like replacement needs to be on a four year cycle. I’m on the road so I’ve wrapped them in electrical tape until I can replace....
