Payload of 1800 is great, but towing capacity of 6500 is getting on the light size. On mountain passes this could be a challenge.

In Canyonville Oregon tonight and tomorrow night. Weather beautiful coming down I 5. Very cold here tonight. At or just below freezing. Snow in the higher elevations. Roads are good.

Manual is our choice

Manual for two reasons.: 1)You cans adjust the tilt for additional shade. 2) Much less to breakdown as opposed to the power mechanism.

Would get the manual again in a heartbeat.

Totally agree. This is our route each year. Like California. Tip here is stay on I-5 and out of Sacramento. Much easier. Google Maps will try to correct you.
