Thank you very much. we did try the isopropyl alcohol but it didn't remove the colouring.
we are going to post a photo to Escape directly as well. not sure if it is sap

What can be used to remove tree pitch on roof of trailer

Roof of trailer has pitch or tree sap. Any suggestions on how to remove this sticky and yellow substance?
