Toothpicks and glue in the screw holes and 2 slices of pool noodle underneath and 2 at the top towards the rear to stop movement. Has not happened since.

Something else I noticed about the newer Escapes

The Storage box lid now is an outie.
Previous lids were innies and had the centers recessed so they collected water and debris.
