Assembly is easy, the wood slats slide into the rubber sides... you will need to trim the wood slats to fit your bed size( in our 21 i think i had to trim off 4-6").

:thumb: we did this to our 21 and it makes a world of difference. Also if you are patient and a lover of IKEA As-Is you might find one there as we did and got it at 75% off :)
