5th Wheel Installation

I have a new 19 ready for pickup but a friend who is considering a 5th wheel asked me if I knew how the hitch should be installed, he has an F150 with an aluminum bed and would like to put a bed liner in as well. I know nothing about this kind of setup. What comes first, and is there some kind of gasket between the aluminum bed and the hitch? Do you have to cut the liner out around the bolts? Thank you!

I had a 5th wheel hitch put in my 2017 F150 by Trademasters and they also sprayed my bed with a liner. They sprayed first and then installed the hitch, they used spacers where they had to bolt down the rails so that when they tightened the bolts it didn't crush the bed.

Rhino Liner or Line-X are both spray in bed liners that will isolate steel from the aluminum bed.
He should forget the plastic, drop in liner and go for the spray in.
