8 Hole Drop Bar

I recently supplied ETI with the measurement they request (level ground to inside lip of TV receiver) for pre-installation of the E2 Fastway WDH. When completing the form a pop-up suggested that I'd need an "8 hole drop bar".
This too can be provided by ETI but I'm curious as to what it is exactly.
I'm assuming something like this?

Yes, but minus the ball and mount. The idea is to meet the trailer coupler with the WDH ball so that the trailer frame is level front to rear. If your receiver is too high (or possibly too low) you will need a drop bar that extends low (or high) enough to present the ball at the proper height.

What is your TV?

I have a 2004 Tundra and the measurement that ETI requested is 18 inches.

So, if they provide the drop bar does that mean I need to bring a ball (and wrenches to put it on)?
If so I might as well bring my own drop bar with a ball already installed.

No. If you ordered the WDH from ETI, it will come with all the needed parts.

I didn’t notice where you are picking up. If you are Canadian and picking up at the factory, I believe they are still installing, but maybe things have changed.

If you pick up in the US, you will have to hook it up, although I spoke to someone at the Osoyoos Rally who said the ETI delivery guy helped them (maybe talked them through it).

You should ask your config specialist to be sure.

Don't overthink it. If you ordered the WDH and gave them the proper measurement they will have all the hardware including the shank and have it set up properly for you.

They told me I needed the 8 hole for my Ridgeline with an 18" hitch height but as it turns out I didn't actually need the 8 hole, and it drags really easily which makes me cringe every time. 21NE

With a 19" hitch height on the 21C and 18 1/2" receiver height on my F-150 I will not accept an 8-Hole Drop as the standard will work just fine.

Pickup location in Ontario or Quebec is yet to be determined. ETI says they will preinstall the WDH.
