Anderson fifth wheel hitch

First time doing it alone not sure about pin locking thing I opened it -unscrewed and pulled it - then lowered the trailer on my ball and then tightened the locking thing. Then raised again a bit to see if it tried to pick up the truck it did soo lowered again and connected all the other stuff. Sound ok? What do you attach your break away break thing to? It's kind of short so I attached to the hitch

I attach the breakaway cable to a slot in the back rail. I have a small carabiner on the end of the cable. Be very careful lifting the trailer while attached to the ball. If you over stress the electric jacks you will blow a fuse and everything will stop. If it is settled on the ball and you have locked it it is good, you don't need to try to lift the trailer and truck. I have a checklist in the box where the switches are to remind me to lock and unlock the pin and to make sure the rear jacks are up before lifting the trailer, and to chock the wheels before unhitching.

All good it's perfect now even the chains were easy with a small step ladder I keep them attached to the bed of the truck store snapped to the side of the truck so easy to attach to the hitch. Thanks
