Double Axle Ramps to Level 21C?

Just got home with our new 21C. In unhitching and parking I discovered the slope of our parking place is severe enough front to back that I was barely able to lift the hitch high enough to unhitch, and then lowering the hitch as far as possible (about 1" from the pavement) the trailer was still out of level front to back. (If I used a hitch block the trailer would be even further out of level when lowered).

I am contemplating building parking ramps that will support both wheels about 6-8" off the ground. This should allow me to level the trailer and will make hitching and unhitching easier.

Anyone else have this problem? Comments and ideas?

There is a good thread called "loading and unloading on a slope" posted 05/06/2012.
Should be helpful once you search and find it. I tried to post the link but was not successful

Thanks, Brian, I think you have saved me a lot of aggravation.

I found the following with your suggestion and the consensus seems to be to not bother with level if you are not running the fridge. In our case the trailer is just parked, waiting to be packed for the next trip. Some contributors also think that going to extremes to make it level can harm the suspension, but I don't really understand that part if I were to make ramps with both tires on the same level.

Now I can get going with all the mods and improvements to our new trailer.

Perhaps the use of a small floor jack would assist you in unhitching the trailer when you are parking at home.

I have also had to take the WDH bars off the TV to assist when in really non-level sites.

I built a 6 inch ramp for one side of our 21C using a few sections of 2x12 lumber. I'm use it for side-to-side leveling when the trailer is parked at our house. Helps to have it level to empty or fill the tanks, pre-cool the fridge, etc.
