Ford F150 and a 5.0 - Do I need tow mirrors?

More just FYI, width measurements taken today in answer to a Q on another forum, 2022 F150 Lariat with OE power fold / extend Trailer Tow mirrors:

85" out-to-out folded mirrors
107" out-to-out unfolded mirrors
113" out-to-out extended mirrors

Installed Ford factory tow mirrors last weekend (along with Roadmaster Active Suspension but more on that later). The install was super easy just like everyone said it would be. All you need is a 10mm socket and a non-marring door panel pry lever. Took about 20minutes total. Today I delivered our Rpod to it's new owner. Even in the retracted position, the tow mirrors offer a much better field of view than the stock F150 mirrors did. Very happy with the upgrade and the price was right thanks to the suggestion of using FordPass rewards points, the discount voucher I received and an additional discount that was offered.
