Gladiator cargo net over Andersen Ultimate for 5.0TA

Does anyone who hauls a 5.0TA use a Gladiator cargo net or similar over their truck bed to secure the load? It seems like it could fit over the Andersen Ultimate base if a hole was cut out for the ball.

Considered cutting a flap in my rollup cover, but then realized it would need to be large to handle the safety chains. Scrapped that.

The advantage i see to the cargo net is you could basically cut out the mesh from one or two squares between straps. I had not thought of the chains.
The other advantage is the net would allow airflow where as waterproof covers would be compromised by the hitch cutout but still restrict airflow causing moisture issues.
