New tow vehicle! Honda Ridgeline

It only took me almost 3 years (while I towed with the Forester) to decide on what to buy. I test drove a few and researched a lot more SUVs, but ended up with a 2019 Honda Ridgeline. Photos are staged; not towing yet. The trim I got comes with the hitch and wiring but I need to get the right tow bar and wire in the brake controller (and break the truck in). But I think it looks great! I know it tows well, Farther was kind enough to come over and visit and let me try towing with his Ridgeline. First vehicle I've ever owned that was not bottom of the line and it is going to be a lot of fun.

The last picture shows the color in the sun, the others were this morning with backlighting so it looks much darker. I'm thinking a level bar.

Congrats. should work well with your trailer (and without). Drove one at a dealer a couple of month ago, nice truck.

Looks great! You're set up for whatever you decide to take on, with this rig. You're going to have a lot of fun with this

Beautiful truck, and that looks like a great combination!

Good choice. I do have to say that my Ridgeline is the best vehicle I have ever owned in my 68 years and I don't have as nice a trim level as Bobbie54.

Yours is pretty nice. I'm looking forward to a few leisurely drives in the next few weeks to get some miles on it so I can tow. And now I can seriously start thinking about long trips- I have xcountry and Alaska in mind for "soon" and "sometime after that.."

We were just out today doing "truck things"- taking a load of junk to the dump!
