Remote 7way receptacle , Ford Ranger Truck Box

I installed a remote 7way receptacle in the Truck box, left side just ahead of the tailgate in my 2019 Ford Ranger which has the heavy duty tow package. I use the Ranger for towing our Escape 5.0TA
I used the Curt Kit 57008 which is for the late Model Ford F-150 with the heavy duty factory tow package which has the exact same wiring as my Ranger.
The instruction with the kit were good and easy to follow. Once I had the tools ready it took about an hour to install.

It keeps the 7way cable from hanging down over the back of the tail gate rubbing on tailgate top piece and tailgate paint.
In my case I have a hitch step installed on the trailer hitch and when backing my 5.0TA into it’s spot at home the hanging cable caught on the hitch step. The result was, it tore the cable out of the junction box on the 5.0 The junction box as well as the cable were damaged. I replaced the cable and junction box. Then researched on who made a in the box remote 7way receptacle kit.
