factory class IV hitch on a F250 Super Duty 'gen 1'. definitely 2", the 2" curt stuff fits it just fine, as does my 1Up bike rack. the Reese was probably 1/8" undersize, my 1/4" was an exaggeration, but it was definitely loose enough that I could feel the trailer 'clanking' on the back of that 8000+ lb truck (F250 GVWR=8800 lbs).
