Tow vehicle broken down

We were towing our trailer to Santa Fe 8 weeks ago to get new tires on our E-21 when the turbo failed in our 2017 GMC Canyon with the 2.8L diesel engine. We managed to limp to a Chevrolet dealer where they diagnosed the problem as a failed turbocharger and ordered a replacement. Five weeks later, the replacement arrived and was successfully installed. After the repair, we then found that the turbo oil return seal was leaking so we had the truck towed back to the dealer for the needed repair. It turns out they the dealer had to reuse the original seal since a new part was not available anywhere in the US and is on perpetual backorder from GM.

Our Canyon remains stuck in Santa Fe and our E-21 in our driveway. I am wondering and hoping that perhaps the needed $2 seal might be available in Canada if someone has a way to access the GM Canada parts inventory system? The part is described as a Turbocharger Tube Seal, GM Part Number 55499618 (replaces part number 12625659)

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated and appropriately rewarded!! We want to get our E-21 and ourselves back on the road!

I just Googled "GM 55499618 canada" and it looks like it is available and in stock through a number of places here. https://www.google.com/search?q=GM+5...client=gws-wiz

Thanks Iam G, I will call the suppliers with phone numbers on Monday. A number of places in the US showed online as having the part but when you call them, you get the old "its on backorder" reply. Will let you know and thanks for checking on this!
