Towing 17B With Subaru Outback 6 cylinder

Does anyone besides Jerry R. have experience with this? He uses a WDH and has had a good experience so far, even in mountains. We've been Outback people for 10 years now and we are somewhat addicted...but I don't want to be sweating it in any way towing our unit when we get it next July. Any feedback much appreciated. 8)

Check your cars tow rating and if you don't have a electric brake controller you will need one. Do you have the 7 pin trailer plug in? does your car have a towing package? You need mirror extensions. Happy to see you made a good choice in trailers.

Our Subi has 300K on it and is 4 cylinder, so we are looking to upgrade. Right now I am thinking Outback, Rav 4, or Highlander.

My biased opinion is the Highlander. It will tow your 17B like a dream. And the HL is a very nice vehicle (again my view is prejudiced)

Thanks, Laura and Rick. I would call that an "informed" opinion regarding the Highlander because you are speaking from experience.
