Towing mirrors

I have a 2003 Toyota Tundra and I'm wondering if anyone has a good suggestion for towing mirrors. There seems to be quite a selection available and I'd like to know if anyone has had a good experience with any particular type. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I can't say enough about how good the Aero mirrors are. See our write up

We also use the Aero mirrors on our 2012 Tundra to good effect.
Amazon.com: JR Products 2912 Grand Aero Towing Mirror - Pair: Automotive
Easy to remove and install. Also they clear the side window glass when the OE manual mirrors are folded back.

"Based on recommendations from this site, we just purchased a set of Aero mirrors for our Sienna. Haven't used them yet, but they fit really well. We'll know more after we pick up our 19' in June.

I have Tow 'N' See mirrors and the Aero mirrors.
Less vibration with the Aero, more mirror surface and they can be adjusted independent of the OE mirrors.

We also use the Grand Aero mirrors and find they work well

We are pleased with the extra visibility the Grand Aero mirrors provide also; even using just one is adequate.

Costco Canada has the Aero mirrors (2 styles) online, among some other interesting camping products. Their prices include delivery, and their warranty is second to none.

Tow Mirrors

Well, thanks for all the help. You folks made my decision easy. I just purchased a set of the Grand Aero mirrors. Thanks for all the comments, it's nice getting information from veteran's as I've never towed before and your experienced insights are a big help.

Footnote to mirrors. I ordered the Aero 2 Mirrors from Costco online on Saturday, March 1st, at a cost of $104.99. They arrived at the door Monday, March 3rd?!?! I have no idea how they got them here that fast, but they did. Price included shipping, but not GST.

I've bought, but have not yet used, the CTM4000 mirrors from etrailer.com for my first generation Sequoia. They are supposed to also fit 2000-2006 Tundras. They seem to fit fine on my vehicle. You can find them here: The Original Custom Towing Mirror Custom Slide On Mirrors (Pair) Longview Custom Towing Mirrors CTM4000.

That's what I use on my Tundra. At first the fit was a bit loose, but a blob of silicon sealant made it fit like a glove. We've been very happy with the result. I only bought the driver's side mirror; the Tundra seems wide enough that the other side wasn't necessary.

Mine arrived very quickly also. Maybe Beaumont is strategically located on Costco's delivery route.

Where'd you put your blob, Ray?

We definitely need to get extension mirrors and I read the threads and was ready to buy the Grand Aero then I saw that Costco might carry them so checked there and found these: JR Products Aero 2 Towing Mirror . Has anyone seen these? Are they the new Aero model? Thanks!

Oops! I found both on Amazon and will compare them. I'd still welcome feedback! :-)

I believe the Aero 2 are a size down from the Grand Aero... That is, they are a little smaller. I have the 2s, and they do fine towing a 19 behind a Frontier.
