The 6v batteries are easy enough. Interstate 6v are approx 67 lbs ea. Extra battery box a couple of lbs. Not sure what they use for stock 12v but look up the weight for that one and subtract.
AC model should have specs including weight, but not sure what model to look up.
Same w/solar panels, but not sure what they are currently using to look up weight.

I agree it would be nice, but the problem with this is folks relying on it too much, and trying to keep it up to date as different materials and fixtures are used. Then, how do you account for custom mods not on the sheet, reinforcing, heavy wiring, extra this and that. Not to mention the items removed from the base weight, like fans, doors, tables, sinks, etc. I think the PITA factor might be too big to bother.

Heck, they are having trouble keeping up with the photos, let alone adding to their tasks.

But, maybe if enough folks made the suggestion.......

I assume ETI weighs each trailer and thus creates the numbers on the official papers and labels attached to the trailer. It would not be too hard for one to list their options and then do some subtraction.

Maybe now, but when we got our in 2010 17B Tammy said it is math based on options added to base weight

So ETI must have a list with weights, maybe someday (after they all get to catch their breath from all the changes and expansions going on) it will be possible to see how much each option adds to weight.

For a long time, I have felt the same, that they should update the basic information/specifications.

Though, somewhere along the line, I read a comment attributed to Tammy (or think/or dreamt, that I read it) that they go through a time-consuming, arduous, and expensive procedure of licensing/certification for each model. So it is a major deal to modify the officially posted specs. on each trailer. That's the only thing that seems to make sense.
Website information and graphics are not all that hard to change, and through they are very busy, I bet the time spent in response to inquiry calls and e-mails (especially as referenced on this forum) outweigh the time to update the website.

2016 5,000 3,450

So according to these numbers my 19 weighs more than my older 21 and has a
higher capacity than the older one? Not sure if these numbers are correct but I'm going to look into the source of them.

For people who are in possession of a trailer there is a SIMPLE answer...go to a truck stop or your local gravel pit and get it weighed!!! I know this does not help the future owner....

Thereabouts but the A/C is 105 Lb., reinforced walls add approx. 25 Lb per wall and if you buy the top quality vinyl flooring it can add 25 to 50 lbs. Also the dual 6V batteries weigh more than the standard group 27 battery. Other options like the propane quick connect, shelves in the wardrobe, flip-up tables and the Springfield Pedestal can add 5 to 10 Lbs each.

Escape's web site specs say
Quote:
Approx. Dry hitch weight 600 lbs
Approx. Dry axle weight 3285 lbs
Approx. Total dry weight 3885 lbs
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating 5500 lbs
... but experience has shown - particularly for the past year - that published specs may be out of date. I don't think the base-dry pin weight spec has ever been 700 pounds.

Perhaps a 2017 5.0TA owner can share the values from their weight and capacity data... which will be for the trailer equipped as they bought it, not base.

There was some speculation about this in the past so made a new inquiry. Along with a build sheet trailer weight estimate, was informed today that the new 2017 Escape 19 and 21 have the same axles and they are rated 3500 lbs max each. That should leave plenty of safety margin for those that want it.
