A Great Place to Camp with your Escape

Spending some of Washington Spring break at Crooked River Ranch RV Park located in central Oregon near US97. Nice campground with full hookups TV and WiFi. A beautiful place to camp with your Escape Trailer.

What a beautiful spot. Thanks for the information. Did you come from I-5 eastward?

We've camped along the Crooked River. South of Prineville is a series of six BLM campgrounds long the river in a canyon below the Prineville Reservoir. They are primitive campgrounds, inexpensive, and scenic.

If you can afford a Escape Trailer then you can afford to camp. Three nights full hookups including TV and WiFi the bill with taxes was $104.00.

I was surprised to see Crooked River Ranch mentioned tonight! About eighteen years ago we, and another couple, bought a lot there and put down a manufactured home. We do enjoy the Central Oregon area and even if CRR is a laid-back place there are many things to do…golf, hike, fish, etc. If you can hike the 300 feet down the canyon to the river you'll find it's very beautiful, quiet and has lots of (smallish) trout to catch/release.

We are going there tomorrow to fix a pipe which froze last February (it's not all fun and games) so we may stop in to see you, Chuck.

Excellent. That's a reasonable rate. I should be picking up my trailer rather than having it delivered and on the way back I'm getting ideas on where to stop for a night or so and this looks good.

Thanks Chuck.
