Camping near El Paso

Hi all
Looking for any recommendations on a place to land our 5.0 for several days/weeks along the I10 corridor from Las Cruces, NM to west-side El Paso, TX. We moved my mom into hospice and I would rather stay in the Escape than a hotel. I checked Campendium and Allstays and there doesn't appear to be much in the area except for a couple of RV parks that get pretty bad reviews. My siblings homes all have HOAs which have said no to RV parking.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

I haven’t been in the area but checked out rv life for reviews.

If it's close enough to where you want to be you might check out Leasburg Dam State Park just north of Las Cruces. No full hookups but they do have water/electric sites.

Thanks. The Las Cruces KOA was on my list but was hoping for something closer. Leasburg is too far out but I appreciate the suggestion.

Check out Hacienda RV Resort off of I 10 in Las Cruces. It was pricey when I stayed there years ago but a nice campground.

Might be a long shot, but check with the hospice and local affiliated hospitals and/or churches. Many have RV electric / water after the "COVID" deal..........Or, somebody affiliated with such may have room for you in their driveway/lot/farm/ranch..............you never know.

Maybe check out El Paso West. Well reviewed, halfway between Las Cruces and El Paso.
