Chehalis River Campground -

Last week we spent three nights at Chehalis Campground (Chehalis River |) a BC Recreation Site (http://www.sitesandtrailsbc.ca/default.aspx). For my American friends the Campground is about 45 minutes from Chilliwack on the other side of the Fraser River. Rustic campground -pit toilets, picnic table and fire pit, campground hosts. $15.00 a night site rental - reservable sites for an extra 15.00 fee.

We went on an easy walk along the river to view the canyon and happened upon a fish release by Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC (Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC | Fresh Water Fishing BC). I thought I’d share a few pictures.

I love that area ! I have spent a great amount of time fishing with my two sons there up in the canyon. It's beautiful we had no idea there was a campsite. I guess we were too focused on salmon fishing in the fall.

truth be told - I hesitated before posting about this CG since I selfishly don't want it to be too hard to get into
