Cultus Lake Provincial campground

Plusses:
-25 minutes to Escape factory
- Old growth coastal forest and hikes.
- well maintained.
- half price for seniors (Sep. through Jun 15, week days)

Minuses:
- no electrical outlets.
- no pull throughs. This could be a plus or a minus. For us, a plus, as more low impact campers without huge generators.
- Two of the camping areas border the Columbia River Highway. When we come back, we will definitely book the campsites higher up the hill, rather than on the water. this means not Delta, and not Entrance Bay, except uphill.

We visited this campground last fall and in this one part we were amazed at all of the summer campers there with really big trailers. People had fences, canopies, car ports, and you name it to make it look like they were there permanently. This was all very close to the lake. We talked to a lady there who said everything there would have to be gone by Oct. 1st. Very beautiful place. Loren

Perhaps you are thinking of the nearby private campground. The provincial government sites allow a maximum 7 night stay

We stayed at Cultis Lake PP two summers ago in mid-July. Was super busy, tons of noisy boats on the water and just too many people and too many wasps for our taste. Would probably be a much nicer place in the shoulder seasons.

We just spent a long weekend at Delta and loved the scenary. I agree that the road and boat noise are distracting. By Sunday night the park had become very nice though. We were by the water and some geese swam right up to the kiddos. A maple tree near the campsite has leaves 16 inches wides. It is a beautiful park. Definitely worth visiting during shoulder seasons on weekdays.

The park is very well maintained and staffed. We didn't have the right coins to use the Sani-station but a trip to the registration booth took care of it. We also added Loonie and Toonie to our vocabularies.

For the nicer lots it is way to expensive.

young kids manning the gate seemed more interested in other things than the customers in front of them.

will never stay there again.
