Gold Point, Nevada

If you love the desert, love historic ghost towns and just a bit of "roughin it"......Gold Point is a place you'll definately want to journey to.

Gold Point is north-east of Death Valley, in between Beatty and Goldfield, Nev. It's a completly unrestored ghost town that a very small handful of people still live in.

Terrie and I (and a small group of our motorcycling friends) spent a couple days there this summer and we look forward to going back.

Here's a link to their web site...... http://www.goldpointghosttown.com/

We've rode motorcycles all of my life and I've been every where in this country....from the Pacific to the Atlantic and up in British Columbia and down in Baja California. Photography is also a big hobby of mine and I never leave home without my Nikon. If you can get past the motorcycles, here's a link to my ride report of our journey to Gold Point and the town itself....as well as Death Valley.... http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=72870.0
