Inks Lake SP

It's been way too long since we last camped. All work and no play!

We're headed to Inks Lake SP and believe it or not we've never been there even though it's only about 75 miles away. Anyone who's been there who has some good info, feel free to share. Thanks.Click image for larger version

Blue Bonnet

Blue Bonnet Cafe in Marble Falls

On 281 just north of the river / lake about a block. Usually trailer parking is available out back, across the street if needed.

Be ready for a wait on weekends.

Get pie

Lots of ducks too. The squirrels come right up on your table if you let them.Click image for larger version

I'm currently relaxing for the day at another of your state parks - Lake Somerville State Park. Almost empty except for the deer...

Hey, Jon. We’ll be in Caldwell this weekend, helping my brother work on his porch. That’s very close to Lake Somerville.
