Looking for campground in/near Chilliwack, BC

What is a good RV campground in Chilliwack? We are trying to book Cottonwood Meadows RV park, but will entertain other ideas.

We stayed at Royalwood just down the road from the factory. We spent our first three nights there after picking up our trailer. Nice place with cheap rates.

It's called Haynes Point and was likely fully booked a year ago. It's also several hours to Chilliwack.

They call it sẁiẁs Provincial Park now. It is now managed by the Osoyoos Indian Band. Beautiful campsite I have many memories of camping there in the 70's I hope the band keeps it up.

Good catch, Hugh.
The site is apparently important to the Osoyoos Indian Band, and the Band also operates the generally well-regarded Nk'Mip RV Park (just down the road from sẁiẁs) where the annual Escape Trailer Customer Appreciation Rally is held. My guess is that the sẁiẁs Provincial Park campground will be kept up well.

Of course, it isn't near Chilliwack...

There's Sunnyside Campground at Cultus Lake, about 8km (5 miles) south of Chilliwack. Huge campground with a variety of sites, many back-in full hook up sites. There's also Cultus Lake Provincial Park which is 13 km (8miles) south of Chilliwack. No hook-ups, so good time to test out boondocking skills! Both in very beautiful area and fairly close to ETI.

Sasquatch Provincial Park - BC Parks

Sasquatch Provincial Park up along the east side of Harrison Lake is also an option. There are three camping areas, Hicks and Deer Lakes and Benchlands.
There was a very recent positing by an new owner of an Escape 19' who was just out there camping (I don't recall their name).

Looked it up. The new owner is Old Fulica, posted under New Member Introduction. Posted a photo from the campground.

thank you, that is most helpful. We feel we will need a couple of days to set up our 21 before taking off north to Prince Rupert to go on the ferry. We'd better be fast learners!

Glad I could help! I was starting to get worried there with "Sunny Trail Nudist Club" and "Sunnyvale Trailer Park" of the show Trailer Park boys. You'll enjoy it...it's a beautiful area. : )
