Rossue, yes we have visited the movie museum and loved it. There are so many gems in and around Lone Pine great place to base camp or just stop over. Just some advise, if you can arrive Mon. thru Thru. you have no problem finding a nice spot. Mount Whitney should be covered in snow if you visit.
