adding spray foam on underbelly to increase R value

has anyone tried this or heard about anyone spraying on a product to increase insulation under the trailer? I saw a UTube on this but no mention of product or DIY details. thanks

Are you referring to the foam option Escape offers? It is a spray that covers the entire trailer bottom and makes it warmer in the winter and protects the tanks from freezing.

I have insulated some of our house with the 2 part spray foam ETI uses, and I wouldn't do it again. I don't recommend it as a DIY job, It is non-toxic when dried, but the fumes and overspray are really nasty during the application process. Most contractors, that know what they are doing, wear full coverage masks with fresh air pumped into them and disposable Tyvek coveralls.

I had a case of "spray foam eyes" for a couple of days after doing it in our attic- not pleasant -and I was wearing goggles.

That is very well done. It is very hard to get it that uniform.
