Axle service companies in Houston area

Greetings,
I’m looking for a reasonably priced trailer axle service company in the Houston area to maintain the bearings and brakes on our 2019 19-er. Please let me know your suggestions. Thanks,
Bill King

Hi Bill,
I am not much of a mechanic, but I do have my bearings serviced every 2 years or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. I trust this job to a good Wheel and Brake shop In my area. I believe a good mechanic, especially one who specializes in wheels is a better option than an RV tech, Also, getting an appointment is much easier! Good Luck!

In my locale we have Trailer Barn. In Houston I see Big Tex, which no doubt would have all the parts and expertise to service your Dexter axles. If not them, someone similar would be my first choice to call for estimates.

Just ask your mechanic if he can do it. I would say the skill level in an RV dealership is pretty low.
