New to RV owning. Should I air the 5th wheel out by opening the windows after or before cleaning the exterior, especially trying to get the oxidation off. I just bought this 5th wheel and it has some yellow streaks on one side only and dirt and grime up on the exhaust vent on the roof, and probably a whole lot more to do which I’m going to be tackling or starting to tackle, tomorrow, before I cover it while I’m away for 10 weeks. Also, how often should I remove the cover when it’s not being used and air it out? I don’t want any smells (moldy) to start forming.

I believe you could either work outside to inside or vice versa. I always start inside and work to the outside. Clean the inside, air it out and make sure everything inside works. Then I move to the outside focusing first on mechanical like wheel bearings, brakes, jacks, doors/windows etc. Once I have everything inside and out working, I address the cosmetic stuff.

I've never covered an RV, or car or anything for that matter so I can't help you there.
