Anyone with a 10 year old travel trailer should be performing frame as well as other check points to validate the road worthiness of their Escape at least once or twice per year.

I had to go back and remind myself what the second ETI recall did to reinforce the frame. A heavy wall square tube was skip-welded on the bottom of the frame that completely spans the area of concern. They reattached the jack beneath it. I suspect the same should be done on the other models with the 3 inch frames. The original corner reinforcement can be seen as well.
We did get a recall on our Escape 19 stove but have heard of no others. This frame thing is really scary. Did those of you who had frame failures get a recall or warning or did these just happen out of the blue? We’re there any specific years or models. How long are warranty repairs covered?
Have you measured the frame on your Escape? I believe that's it's a 4" frame and they've never had a problem. It was the earlier ones with a 3" frame that had problems.
There was also a second recall on 2009-2013 19’s but from the few examples of frame breaks I have seen it appears the 15’s and 17’s would benefit from this type of reinforcement as well. https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...tml#post246132
