Still, another device to buy and haul in the rig or tug.

There is a large threaded opening where the sink adapter fits that you can fill through. The opening comes with a threaded plug that you can tighten by hand via a large knob. I've heated water in a percolator on the stove and dumped it into the tank that was already half filled with water from a nearby stream. You can look at the tank as a 2 gallon water jug if you want, as well as a backup water delivery device.

If you have a winterizing valve, you can run the hose into an antifreeze bottle for flushing toilets. Also for running fresh water in the camper, use the winterizing valve into a container of fresh water inside the camper. Just be sure to empty the grey tank every day. (You can always add hot water into the grey tank before dumping)

We've traveled from Vermont to Idaho in January for the last 4 years. Regarding ANY use of the gray or black water tanks. even with pink stuff, an ice dam will form down by the valves as they are totally outside the heated space. We did that once and it took us two days in a heated garage to thaw it out. Suggest you turn your toilet into a port-a-potty set up with something like this. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw...35061389045_&M
Use wet wipes instead of showers--you'll live.
