Frame TouchUp paint
What is the correct touchup paint to use on the frame? I'm sure Rustoleum would work , but is there something better suited?

I'm using Tremclad semi-gloss black. Same as Rustoleum I believe.
The flat black is too flat.
I asked ETI and my recollection is the answer was semi-gloss.
I apply it with a Lee Valley Tools disposable brush ( super cheap ).

I just spray some generic flat black paint, it will blend in the first time in use.

On my 19 I had lots of issues with frame rust coming from the battery mount. This was before the storage unit became available. I choose to go over everything with a wire brush on a drill, a coat of Rustoleum primer and then their semi-gloss. After one trip you could not tell anything had been painted.
On units with an exposed battery box check the tray and mounting bolts.

Does anyone know the type of black paint used on the spray on insulation? I need to touch up the front area where some of the insulation is exposed.

Reace told me when we had ours done that they use the same paint as on the frame. Big previous thread on painting the insulation.

It appears to be an epoxy-type paint similar to what the oil companies use around here for the off-shore ocean platform facilities. I've used that type of paint for sand rails (dune buggies) and nothing affects it.
I'd bet you can't buy it in California, anymore!
