How do I clean the front storage box?

I removed everything from my fiberglass front storage box, and while it's empty I'd like to clean it. What cleaning product would work well on the interior? As the box doesn't have a drain, I'd have to either siphon out the liquid or use a wet/dry vac when I'm done.

Our storage box had two small drain holes, about 2 feet from the outside edges, at the lowest point of the box. It could be that your drain holes are just obscured by debris.

Typically, I just rinse it out with a hose, give it a fast scrub with carwash detergent, rinse and repeat, until all of the detritus drains through the holes. Sometimes I need to poke the holes to allow free flowing water. And then I leave it open to dry.

Yes Mike, drill some holes if there are none, will not hurt and helps with any water intrusion or leaks from hoses.

Nope-- no holes that I can see. I'll take a more careful look later to make sure they aren't any clogged-up holes, then drill some new ones if needed.

ours had holes about 1/4 inch. That's about 6.35 mm for those not using standard measurements.

How many holes would that be in metric?

same number of holes (2) but just depends on what kind of dirt you want to wash down through them. Metric dirt or standard dirt. You could even go for 5/16 inch or 7.9375 mm dirt.

Well, it would give me some practice drilling through fiberglass, something I'ver never done and am so far skittish to do.

Strange that there are no holes. Did you check the bottom on the outside? Should be pretty easy to find.

Ours are about 1/4", as others have mentioned.

Well, if that happens I'll use binary: 10 holes, 0.01" in diameter.

My 2011 17 did not have holes until I put them there. The 2017 21 has them already.

No holes on our 2011 but holes on the 2015. That is about when they started putting them in.

The correct term is imperial measurements
And there is nothing standard about them.

Not sure what you mean by 12 volt 110 outlets.
In any event, if you use the search function, you will find previous discussions that may have your answer. If not, you can post your question on a thread about outlets.
