Maxfan Cleaning tool

My wife has trouble getting the screen off the maxfan. The rectangular clasps that hold the screen need to be turned, and on our fan, the detents are pretty tight. I 3d-printed a hand tool that helps with this, and I even added a little compartment in the handle to hold a 3/32 allen key (for removing the fan blade).

While I am a strong proponent of multi use tools, I have to say that I got tired of using my Leatherman to open the clips on the MaxxFan screen. I bought the tool & love it! Bruce even included the allen wrench inside the handle.

I'm glad you like it!. There is probably enough space in the handle for more stuff. I was thinking of putting the Allen key for adjusting the water pump in there too.
