Need A New Wax

Just finished removing all the pitch off the Escape followed by a waxing. I used a carnauba wax which is what the factory recommends. But what is needed is a new wax formula that not only has carnauba in it, but also contains at least 50% Teflon. Yep, Teflon. Then all that pitch and bird dropping will slide right off the top going down the highway or with a good hosing. And the real payoff -- no more bugs on the front of the Escape! Wonder if Turtle Wax, Meguiar's or Mother's et al would make us trailer owners happy with Teflon wax?

Re: Need A New Wax

Once again I'm gonna recommend 303 Aerospace Protectant. Pitch doesn't slide off, but comes off easily in washing. And, it's an anti-oxidant + sunblock. A little goes a long way. Works on tires, too. (No, I don't own stock in the company... wish I did, tho.)

I know a number of big 5th wheel owners who use this on the nose of their trailers and swear by it: http://www.rejex.com/. I've personally never used it however.
