That's a new one by me. Mine are there when I start ad gone when I'm done. Of course, 2 weeks later they are back again.

This thread got me to start using the 303 -- and I'm finding it very gratifying to do a little bit at a time. It's pleasant to do cleaning outside. To wash the roof I used a mop that has a cover. I'm not sure how I'll get the 303 all the way across.

Ruthe, I use a pole with a little triangle shaped pad attached to the end. I wrap a microfiber cloth on it and I can hit any spot on the roof. I think you can find them in the cleaning section at a hardware store, etc. Don't recall where I got mine.

So some of you use 303 on the roof ? I think I can do that but waxing the roof seems too much for me.

This is my first time using the 303 so I can't talk to the long term effects. Our gelcoat is in pretty fine shape, but I want to keep it that way and I know that I'll do this, but I won't necessarily wax.

That probably would be better for getting into the smaller spots on the roof. The mop is good for the wide open spaces.

I used 3M fiberglass restorer and wax (for boats and rv's) and I'm really pleased with the result. It removed the oxidation and provided a nice shine, After I used that product, I used Meguires carnuba wax. The difference before and after is pretty amazing. I just wanted to stand and stare at it yesterday. I'm about 1/2 way done and we have a sunny day, so after work I'll be back at it!
