waxing over decals

Ok...preparing for first waxing of my 21. I'm using Collinite 925, after a thorough cleaning. My question is....I don't want to muck up the "Escape" decals And striping. Do I have to do anything special to protect those decals and especially keep the edges from coming loose when buffing (by hand). Would appreciate anyone's experience and input.

I use Collinite 925 as well and a Porter Cable 7424XP polisher. It doesn't affect the decals at all. For several years, i waxed the trailer at least 3 times a year and the decal edges never peeled.

But! What does affect them is age. I now have all my decals removed due to them fading and peeling after three years of service. Nothing to do with the wax - just a bad choice in decal color on my part.

Hopefully, you picked a long life graphic color for your trailer!

Thanks folks. I will just polish and buff, and hope my Teal decals hold up for years of camping.
