I love Friday's!!
Okay, I've seen one switch, two switches, now three switches by the door. What are you going to use the third switch for?

I see the Jack option, 2 extra drawers, the foot flush, several extra 12v, extra tail lights, ss sink, radio. I see the digital thermostat, bigger refer. Donna, the extra switch is for the spare tire backup light.

Doug what was the reason you requested 14 gauge wire for your 12 volt outlets? What is the standard wire Escape uses for their outlets. High lighted in your build list.

I'd say with 190 watts and dual 6's, he is planning on doing some heavy duty inverting or found a 12v microwave!

It is highlighted because ETI put it in red - I don't know if the color means anything.
I think the standard is 16 - and 14 gauge will allow higher current draws and/or less voltage drop. Several posters have noted that using small (200 watt?) inverters can be problematic due to voltage drop - 240 watts at 12V is 20 amps. I have no specific 12V appliance in mind but a 12V coffee pot might be doable.
The dual 6V, dual solar, and LED lights are to allow (limited) microwave use on the inverter and indefinite camping without a generator. (Unless it is too hot and I need A/C.)
Donna - I will install 1 or 2 LED backup (flood) lights on the back bumper (or somewhere.)

jamman,
Thank you for sharing the build sheet. Our 19 ft will begin construction in one week. May I ask how did you get Reace to agree to use 14G wire for the 12v outlets? We asked for 14G wire and Kim said that they don't stock 14G wire. What is a jack TV antenna? We asked for factory TV antenna with power amplifier. Are they the same? What is the different between factory axle and 3000 lb exile. Your help would be appreciated.

Perhaps, but a usable 12V microwave would be way too much for 14 gauge wire. The WaveBox barely functions on 20 amps of 12V.

I asked for the wire and Reace said yes. They may have changed their policy or Kim may not be aware of it.
I think TV ready with power amp gets you a Wineguard unit. The Jack is $50 more.

The stock axles are rated for 2500 pounds. See the previous discussion of this starting with Post #13:

See http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f3...na-2499-2.html
Do an internet search for them - Camping World, Wal-Mart, etc.
Springfield 3 Stage table Pedestal #SPR-1660230
I assume Reace will screw it to the floor and the table top.

Or follow the previous link I provided and click on "Click Here". They tell you why they are better - and of course they are not at all biased. LOL

I asked for some 19' under belly pictures since ours will be foamed. If anyone has questions about what something is, I hope someone who has a 19 will jump in with an answer.
